THE LUMIA STORY
I founded Lumia MedSpa on the core belief that true beauty lies within. You'll look just like you feel inside - beautiful, glowing, and perfect just the way you are. My treatments are designed to provide you not only with a renewed feeling of self-confidence, but also a quiet and relaxing break from our busy lifestyles.
A little bit about me: Columbia is my adopted home since 2003. I'm a proud alumna of Mizzou’s Sinclair School of Nursing, summa cum laude. Building on a critical care background caring for trauma, surgical, and burn patients, I pursued advanced practice training to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at the University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB), returning to Columbia in 2012 to deliver anesthesia to mid-Missouri as a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice.
I received my Aesthetics Injector Certification via Aura Aesthetics Academy. I am also a member of the American MedSpa Association, American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, Missouri Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and the Sinclair School of Nursing alumni board.
Our Mission is clear, by letting my own light shine through
artistry and science, I will fan the flame for others to shine
more brightly through confidence and wellness, inside and out.
